Verbio, an Oregon-based consulting firm specializing in multicultural marketing and multilingual communication strategies, earned certification against the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems ISO 9001:2015 and re-certified under ISO 17100:2016 for Translation Services

These certifications ensure that Verbio’s translation, multimedia, and interpreting services conform to customer expectations and demand for premium quality services. Earning ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100 means that Verbio voluntarily made a commitment to methodically document and cross-train staff on all aspects of company procedures and practices. Verbio also underwent several rounds of internal and external audits to ensure conformity of its practices against the international quality standards.

“Verbio has always strived to provide high-quality services to our clients. Electing to pursue this internationally recognized certification is a clear demonstration of our team’s commitment to rigorous quality standards, efficiency, and continuously improving our business processes,” commented Virginia Joplin, CEO of Verbio.

When Verbio first earned ISO 17100:2015 certification in 2017, this was an initial public expression of our dedication to quality written translations. Electing to pursue and pass ISO 9001:2015 audits is a public proclamation that quality and continuous improvements are embedded values across all service lines and processes. In an era when many consumers think that software tools are good enough to replace trained human professionals, Verbio is demonstrating leadership in the field of global communications. This certification represents Verbio’s commitment to providing high-quality products and services to its customers.

Verbio would like to thank our customers for their continued trust, commitment, and support. Verbio continues to rely on our customers to provide youand will stay focused on our long-term goals for continuous improvement of quality and service.
